Back in town for work the past two weeks and have been back every week! My server Mikey is the best!!! Last time I had the steak and frites, they have the best fries!!! (The thin type). Crispy and so delicious. Today I got the goat cheese tart! OMG so good, and the duck. Amazing!!!!

Was taken here on a date and it was such a perfect, romantic spot. The ambience when you sit outside is absolutely wonderful, it almost feels like you're dining in Europe. This is well executed, high class French food. The servers were very sweet but at the end of the night we felt they were a bit annoyed since it was almost closing time (but why does everything in STL close so early?). Here's what I tried: -Cheese Plate: 8/10 - Came with a hard cheese, a soft Brie cheese, and blue cheese. Also on the plate was bread, sliced apples, roasted grapes, and a raisin chutney. The cheeses were delicious and flavorful, our favorite of which being the soft cheese which paired super well with the sweet raisin chutney. This is a classic start to a French meal, and I was very satisfied. -Duck a L'Orange: 9/10 - I'm pretty picky with duck because I love it so much, but this one was awesome. The breast was very high quality, and the sauce was super sweet and orangey. If I could change anything, I might cook the duck a bit less while still crisping the skin up a bit more, but that's literally just because I like my meat very rare. Honestly, it was near perfectly executed. The fennel salad was good but nothing special; the duck really was the star of the show. -Mac 'n' Cheese: 10/10 - Wow!!! So surprising and incredibly flavorful. The cheese in this was bright and full of flavor, not just a dull cream or cheddar. I love that they used rigatoni noodles (one of my favs) instead of mac, as that added great bite and texture. It was warm, gooey, but yet still had a graininess to it from the real cheese. The addition of the chives and gougere crumbs added a crunch that elevated the mixture of textures even further. -Grilled Peach Pecan Paris Brest: 9/10 - I loved this dessert so much. The pastry was warm and flaky, the peach was sweet and soft, the caramelize d pecan ice cream had a very complex flavor profile, but what really did it for me was the praline and the hot honey. The praline added a crispness and nuttiness that I loved, and the kick from the hot honey cut through the sweetness of everything else ingeniously. My date also had the bistro steak, and while the steak was pretty standard, the peppercorn sauce it came with was super rich and delicious. I love peppercorn sauce in general so that was a great add. Over 70% of the plate was just fries, though, so keep that in mind.

This is a perfect French spot in central west end. We sat outside, which I highly recommend. The outdoor area has an extra drink menu. I recommend the steak, the cheese puffs, and the chocolate mousse. Service was out of this world. Our waitress was so kind and really welcoming. She went above and beyond. This is a perfect place for a date, to take visitors, or family in town. I added a photo of my husband's order the ham and cheese sandwich. Came with a fried egg on top. He absolutely loved it

This was the best restaurant we tried during our weekend visit to St. Louis! The service, food, and ambiance on the patio made for a relaxing and pleasant dinner. They have an extensive wine menu and our servers were extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine we were served. The food was on par with the finest French restaurants I've been to in NYC. Honestly, if I were to have this meal in France I'd still be impressed! I especially liked the salads which were simple but oh-so flavorful. Can't say enough good things about my experience here. Next time I'm in St. Louis I'll make sure to stop by for dinner again.

This place is a staple dinner spot for celebrations or meetings with friends--the food, ambiance and service are all worth it! Once I celebrated my birthday here and the waiter went out of their way to make me feel very special. In addition to the wonderful food, the cocktails here are also fantastic. They are also great about splitting entrees if you are interested. Absolutely recommend for a lovely dinner with family or friends!

This is the cutest little French restaurant! I was in town for a conference that I was speaking at. The host chose this restaurant for dinner because it is within walking distance of the Chase Park Plaza hotel. We loved the location, the outdoor seating option, and the inside decor. The service was exceptional. The food had great flavor. I was in the mood for a cheeseburger and fries, and it was very good! Everyone else at the table branched out to try multiple appetizers and French entrees. Everyone was pleased. We will try again when in the area!

I truly wish I could give 10 stars! Immediately upon walking in we were greeted warmly and show to an adorable table with a gorgeous view! Our waitress Alexis was SO sweet and helpful and had THE best suggestions! My husband and I had The Brasserie Old Fashioned, Bench 73, steak tartare, escargot, mussels, duck a l'Orange, pomme frites, London fog brûlée, floating island, and chocolate mousse (which was a surprise birthday freebie after we had a hard time choosing between the three desserts) and everything was unbelievably amazing. I cannot recommend any of those options enough and can only imagine how delicious the rest of the menu is! Our courses came out perfectly timed and the food runner was also a delight. The restaraunt was spotless and comfortable with music that wasn't too loud and no harsh lighting. This was truly the perfect dinner night out! Pro tip: come with an empty stomach and a loose pocket book; the prices here are STEEP but well deserved! Don't second guess your order, just go for it! Nothing here is bad!
